About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker with Life Without Barriers, you will provide active, person centred support in order to empower our female clients to live independently. In order to provide the best support to our client, we are seeking applicants that have experience in the use of behaviour support plans and de-escalating behaviours.
Due to the nature of these services, you will be required to work across a 24/7 roster. Roster includes sleepovers, weekends and public holidays. Availability for overnight shifts is a must.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow personalised support and behaviour plans while assisting clients with daily living activities and encouraging community engagement
- Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record-keeping
- Providing support to clients who have complex needs or challenging behaviours
Skills & Experience
- An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays
- Ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
