Your opportunity

The Facilitator is responsible for delivering role required High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA) and other health or induction training to frontline staff. This is virtual classroom-based training.

The focus of the role is to build relationships with the managers in the lines of business and deliver training to improve service to customers and support compliance.

A day in the life of the Facilitator …

  • Ensure training is being delivered in a variety of formats including virtual classroom, face to face training and facilitated sessions for accredited and in house modules.
  • Ensure feedback is being provided to line managers for any concerns about staff participation.
  • Monitor and ensure evaluation surveys are being implemented, meeting KPI level and results are discussed for continuous improvement of learning and development methods and materials.
  • Schedule and coordinate session requirements, such as enrolment administration, training resources, venues, accommodation, and travel.
  • Develop training resources which are accessible, version controlled and available for the rest of the team.

What you need to be successful in this role…

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Learning and Development role working in the disability sector and/or nursing.
  • Clinical facilitation experience highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated competence in facilitating groups and individual learning online and face to face.
  • Certificate IV in TAE.
  • Sound knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Tertiary education in a relevant field of study.
